Valentine's Day has sparked a fire in my heart. Put aside the commercial aspect of it all, and the Hollywood romances, and let's get back to the basics, the things that make us excited, joyful, anticipatory and really get our heart pumping. A good book in a cozy oversized sweat shirt, a warm bath with a dozen candles and chill music playing in the background, a favorite movie, popcorn and wine, getting dressed up for a long overdue date night.This excites me, the very idea of creating things that will bring someone joy, it is a heady drug.
Call me a hopeless romantic, but all of the items I created this year have those feelings and intentions in mind. However you spend your love day or days, I hope I get to play a small part in the excitement. Happy Valentine's day not just today, but every day.
